American Center for Mongolian Studies
American Center for Mongolian Studies offers students a variety of opportunities to work as interns. The Online Resource Development Intern Program (ORDI) enables students to acquire a greater understanding of Mongolia and to contribute knowledge to scholars worldwide. ACMS interns engage in research in different academic disciplines and gain practical experience using the Internet and other information technologies. ORDIs work semi-independently on research projects in Mongolia or from their city of residence or academic study.
Peace Corps in Mongolia

The program emphasizes sustainable community development and capacity building and promotes cross-cultural understanding between Americans and Mongolians. Volunteers work in health education and English instruction, and they learn to speak local languages, such as Mongolian and Kazakh.
